Custom designed by Out Wide Marketing Spring Creek Publishing is a small venture that Tony Orman launched in order to give him more independence and a greater measure of control in design with his books. Previously, Tony had  experienced much satisfaction through greater involvement in the publishing of  "Fishing the Wild Places" thanks to Gordon El of Bush Press.  Consequently, he decided to take on the challenge of self-publishing. So in 2000 with his wife Bridget in partnership, Tony launched Spring Creek Publishing. The first title was About Deer and Deerstalking in New Zealand.  After that success Spring Creek Publishing produced two more titles. The second was The Real Story on Trout Fishing in New Zealand - this title was designed for the visiting angler and beginners.  Followed by Spinning For Trout and Other Fish - the latter written to fill the void in available books on spinning.
